The values and competencies that Chris has pointed out can be important to anyone – whether s/he is seeking a new position or not. Achievement drive, conceptual thinking, champion for change plus the pointers such as specific questions provided e.g. questions such as “What are some of the adjectives that you would use to describe your ideal candidate” are all thought starters that I can use daily in preparation for my “elevator” conversations. So when I does come time for me to look for a new opportunity, I will be prepared to tell the story effectively.
