Thank you for your informative video. I have been a sale’s professional for over seven years. I have worked for big companies including IBM, Chase Bank, and behind the scenes of several others doing outsourced inside sales. I currently work at an interactive agency in new business development. We are bidding for a website redesign for Cyberonics a medical device company out of Houston and it has got me thinking about medical device sales.
I have strong inside sales’ experience with outside sale’s experience too but a non-technical degree, is it realistic for me to get into medical device sales?

Great video and it reaffirms what I have done and what more I need to do as I haven’t been working my network as much. I have gone as far as to sit at clinics and approach reps as they come in and hand them a resume. Nothing materialized from it other than when I say that in an interview, they love it! I need to do more of it again, just haven’t had the time with another job. I have 7 years of B2B experience and actually had a verbal offer with Abbott Labs, but then they went on a hiring freeze and I was devastated. Just part of the process and I have to keep getting up everyday and continue fighting for it. Hard to do in this economy as I’ve lost two other opportunities to “experienced” people. I had one other pharma company and one medical device company pass me by but at least I made it far into the interview process and didn’t get cut too quickly.
