I match sales and marketing professionals with world class laboratory companies. I make the connection between business and science. Here you can see how a recruiter works, how this industry runs, and where you fit in (and have others see that fit).

Peggy,

I have been in recruiting for 16 years and I have worked for some of the best companies in the world to include both Google and Microsoft. I have personally experienced the "personal branding" strategy work for me. In these tough economic times, companies are still hiring but they are looking for the best "brand" on the market.

Your cereal analogy made me smile because I just used something similar in a presentation that I recently did. I told the audience they could either be a box of Froot Loops or a box of Fruit Rings. It all depends on how they brand and market themselves which determines how they are perceived.

I just wanted to congratulate you on such an excellent article.
