Using bullet points on your resume
OK, it’s true: medical sales recruiters have to scan resumes quickly, because we get a lot of them to read. As you search for the perfect pharmaceutical, laboratory device, or biotech sales job, it’s in your best interest to have an organized, easy-to-read resume. Bullet points help:
- they direct the reader’s attention
- they highlight critical information
See? However, you can’t bullet-point the whole thing, and there are things to remember about what order to put them in, and how not to repeat yourself. Read Christopher Johnson’s article Why Bullet Points Matter to get some helpful ideas on using bullet points and organizing your information.
